February 2022 Snack Box

Vegancuts Snack Box | February 2022 - Items

This box was very late due to supply chain issues, and of the course, the great reset (same thing).

This box contains the following:

  • Nairn’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Oat Grahams“We can’t believe how much we love these GF treats – enjoy them as the perfect accompaniment to your favorite hot or cold drink at any time of day.”
    • The cookies are decent. I couldn’t even tell they were gluten free. It has a nice chocolate flavor, and the more you eat, the more you want.
  • Happy Planet Group MiSOgood Sauce OR OhSo Tasty Soup“Asian-inspired & packed with veggies and ancient superfoods”
    • I received the Miso Teriyaki sauce and it’s pretty good. I made stir fry with it and it came out really well. It’s a bit sweet, but has a great miso and teriyaki flavor.
  • Longève Meat(less) Plant-Based Protein Crumbles“These delicious crumbles rehydrate in five minutes, and are ready to be used in any recipe that calls for ground meat.”
    • This is just pea protein that you add a little hot water and let sit. Quick and simple and pea protein is much preferred over soy or wheat gluten protein.
  • RightRice (One of their many flavors)“A blend of over 90% nutritious vegetables + rice into a tasty grain that gives you more plant-based protein and fiber.”
    • I did not receive this item (which is good since I’m not the biggest fan of RightRice). Instead, I received Drizzilicious Salted Caramel Mini Rice Cakes. The mini rice cakes were amazing! There is a nice icing on top and it’s sweet and taste good with the flavor of caramel.
  • Nutpods Coconut Macaroon Almond + Coconut Creamer“With a delicate hint of macaroons and no overwhelming sweetness, we can’t get enough of this in our coffee”
    • A slight nutty and coconut flavor, though not the best creamer I’ve had from the company. It does enhance my tea though!
  • Oskri Organic Original Coconut Bar“This bar is delightfully sweet and oh-so-coconutty”
    • I prefer the dark chocolate one, but this one is okay. It’s basically like the inside of an Almond Joy, but without the chocolate. It doesn’t taste overly sweet, but has a fair amount of sugar.
  • Oskri Organic Dark Chocolate Coconut Bar“You will love the upgraded chocolatey decadence of these coconut bars”
    • This is like an Almond Joy. It has a decent amount of sugar, which I’m not a fan of, but also has a lot of calories and fat, which I need for sure. It is tasty, despite its sugar content.
  • Bakery on Main Decadent White Chip Raspberry Swirl Granola“This granola is perfect for sprinkling over ice cream or into a bowl of plant-milk for a wholesome breakfast.”
    • I just ate it dry, and it’s pretty good. Not really a flavor I’m particularly fond of, but it was still quite tasty. There is some minor raspberry flavor, but not much.
  • Banana Vital Simply Bananas Plus Guava“These are cute little energy bars made from real bananas – ripe, never bruised, and always taste great.”
    • I did not get the one with guava, but it is still super tasty. It’s almost like a cross between a gummy fruit bar and a brownie (no joke). The taste and texture is right in between.
  • Blake’s Seed Based Blueberry Lemon Bar“The real blueberries & lemon make this healthy snack bar taste just like fruity pebbles.”
    • Amazing blueberry and lemon taste. Not too much sugar either.
  • Our Favorite Chips“What box would be complete without a crunchy snack? Enjoy one of our faves.”
    • These are the Pioneer Kettle Chips Salt and Cracked Pepper which are genetically modified which I strongly oppose. I had these before, and while the taste is fine, the idea that they are genetically modified is a no-go. This is one of the most disappointing things about the box, in addition to it being their “favorite chip” as there is nothing great about it.
  • Shh! Something extra special“Our gift to you – one of our favorite inclusions found in the Vegancuts Chocolate Box”
    • I received the Chocolita Pine Pollen & Lemon Raw White Chocolate. It’s a 59% cacao chocolate bar with four squares. The color is not white, but rather a light brown, and has a unique flavor of lemon and pine pollen. Really tasty.

  • Kibo Lentil Chips: Maui Onion OR Sea Salt“High protein, low carb, and yummy- a win all around”
    • These were tasty chips. The amazing flavor of onion is so good. Would be perfect with hummus, but I ate them with another meal.
  • The YES Bar Coffee ‘n’ Chocolate Bar“Tastes like a cookie, but with less sugar than an apple- definitely a YES”
    • It says “world’s best tasting snack bar,” and while it’s good, I wouldn’t go that far. It is relatively low sugar, and only has natural sugar. And, it’s also quite tasty.
  • Hippie Snacks Cauliflower Original Crisps“Neither a cracker, nor a chip, this crisp is a great dipper for hummus, salsas, or guac”
    • I wanted to like these more, but by themselves they are just okay. A bit bland with some cauliflower taste. It would, however, be great with hummus.
  • Wild Remedies Almond Lavender Dream Magick Latte“Magick in a cup, this lavender dream latte boasts major zen vibes”
    • I love the bright pink/purple color I saw right off the bat from the purple carrot. When mixed, it turns a dark purple. It smelled like Fruity Pebbles. I mixed it with coconut milk and the flavor isn’t too much. An earthy flavor with a hint of Fruity Pebble.
  • Wild Remedies Spiced Chocolate Magick Latte“Magick in a cup, this spiced chocolate latte helps to support your immune system”
    • The spiced chocolate flavor was lackluster. There wasn’t much flavor, and was rather bland. Adding stevia would’ve helped. It was a bit spicy due to the cinnamon though.
  • Bakery on Main Decadent Monster Cookie Granola“Decadent and delicious, this sweet snack is great alone or as a topping”
    • This is some pretty good granola. Just the right amount of sweetness and lots of flavor.
  • Hippeas Bohemian BBQ Puffs“Did you know chickpeas naturally release nitrogen back into the earth as they grow?”
    • These were ok, with just a slight hint of BBQ flavor. Mostly a bland puff with a minor flavor, but great crunch.
  • Liv Bar Ginger Lemon Tumeric Bar“Crunch, chewy and full of real food ingredients. Don’t forget to compost the packaging!”
    • I did not receive this item, but instead received Oskri Organic Dark Chocolate Coconut Bar. The bar is tasty, but has more sugar than I typically like in a snack.
  • Kibo Chickea Chips Mediterranean Herbs“Transport yourself to the Mediterranean without having to leave the house”
    • I did not receive this item, but instead received Outstanding Foods – Nacho Cheese Pigout Pigless Pork Rinds. I’ve had this item before, and it’s just ok. Rather bland and nothing too special about it.
  • Noka Organics Superfood Smoothie: Strawberry Pineapple OR Mango Coconut“This brand uses organic fruits + veggies that are deemed ugly, and would otherwise go to waste”
    • I got mango coconut flavor. It has camu camu fruit in it, which I’ve never heard of but suppose to be very healthy. It’s similiar to apple sauce, but a bit smoother. The flavor is pleasant, and is best cold.
  • Explore Cuisine Organic Bean Pasta: Edamame Spaghetti, Edamame Mung Fettuccine OR Black Bean Spaghetti“No sluggish feeling after eating a pasta made with these high-protein noodles”
    • I do not like this product, I got the edamame spaghetti. I gave it to a friend since it is just tofu noodles, which I do not like.
