How I BEAT Fibromyalgia

I managed to beat many of the symptoms of fibromyalgia and am much healthier now. But, how did I do it?

A few years ago I ran into some serious health issues where I was in chronic pain, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, and couldn’t go about my daily life in a productive manner, among other things. After going to a doctor, they suggested I get tested for fibromyalgia. There is no official test for this disorder, and it’s largely unknown what causes it, but I went to a rheumatologist and after multiple tests to rule out other things like arthritis, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

Despite any diagnosis or condition I have, I was determined to beat it no matter what. Well, that’s exactly what I did and I will be sharing exactly how I did that. First and foremost, the tips I will be giving are how I personally managed this condition. These tips may not help you. Furthermore, these are things I’ve done to better my life, but it doesn’t mean that things are perfect. I still have problems from time to time but it’s much better than it was many years ago.

One of the most helpful things I did was start taking CBD. This is the brand I use, Joy Organics, and I have an affiliate link and the code AUT15 will save you 15% off your order, and you can use it as many times as you like. CBD is a natural component in hemp that helps with relaxation, eases pain and anxiety, and promotes overall health. I use Joy Organics because they were the first brand to be completely 100% THC free, which is the psychoactive component found in marijuana. CBD from hemp can be purchased online and over the counter and is not regulated the same as extracts from marijuana are. This has been one of the mostly helpful supplements for me so I highly recommend it. I know you want it, so check it out!

Exercise is also another crucial step I took at overcoming this disorder. I know it’s hard due to pain and fatigue, but I pushed though and I know you can too. It’s not perfect for me and still quite difficult depending on the exercise I’m doing, but this has helped get my body moving which has helped my overall condition.

Diet was also crucial for me, to eat natural and organic foods. Did you know that glyphosate, a toxic herbicide, is found in many foods, so buying organic will eliminate much of this from your diet? Things such as wheat, soy, and corn are among the highest in glyphosate. Avoiding soy entirely has actually helped me quite a bit. That’s not to say I don’t still consume soy, because I do, but less than I did, and I feel worse on the days I do consume it. Always buy organic and non-GMO soy since conventional soy is genetically modified to resist glyphosate, which can cause many problems for our health.

And lastly, your outlook on life and learning to let go of anxiety is extremely beneficial. Anxiety can make your body tense and bring pain. I have mostly dealt with my anxiety just fine, but there are times it is high and I feel terrible. Anxiety is directly connected to my tense body and pain, so letting that go and learning to remain calm was highly beneficial for me. I learned to take some deep breaths and let go of anxiety and stress and my life has significantly improved.

Additional Info

I first developed fibromyalgia when I was overworking myself making videos and never taking a break. Over time I realized that I needed to put my health first. If something doesn’t feel right, or I’m in pain, take a step back and take a break. All that work made me stressed and anxious. I learned the proper ways of dealing with my problems and taking a break when needed and feel so much better. When dealing with this condition, it mostly comes down to being mindful of your body and listening to what it’s telling you. Sometimes it’s lack of movement, unhealthy foods, or overworking and stress. Figure it out and you can overcome these challenges.
