Hi everyone! This is going to be a tutorial of this basic, simple dark look. It’s very quick and easy but gives the eye a bit of detail. If you would like to know how I did these eyebrows, please watch my video on it. There will be an annotation and a link in the description. [Eyebrows] Anyway, in order to do this look all you really need is eyeshadow and mascara.
I first start off with primer. The one I am using is ‘Too Faced Shadow Insurance’ primer. You don’t have to use primer, but it does help make it darker and easier to apply.
For the black eyeshadow, I am using ‘NYX ES01 Black’ and this ‘Ecotools Crease’ brush. You only want a little bit. So, just gently tap it into the shadow. Otherwise you will end up making it too dark. But, it depends on how dark you actually want it. So, use your own judgement.
When I apply it, I make small motions where I want it to be the darkest. I then go out a bit to blend it further. I then just use my finger to smudge it if needed. I want it slightly extended past my eye here so I can connect the bottom part of my eye to it. To do that, I am using the ‘Ecotools Shade’ brush. Again, just slightly tap it and start at the darkest part and work your way towards the center of the eye.
As for mascara, I am using the ‘Maybelline the Mega Plush Volum’ Express’ mascara.
And that is how you do this very quick and simple look. Nothing too drastic, but if you want to wear some minor makeup, give it a try. You can do different colors, or whatever you like. Thank you so much for watching!
