We are talking about shadow banning and why it happens to people, as well as other platforms you can follow me on. In case you aren’t aware, the term shadow banning means that a social media site has restricted a user’s content or page and will often not recommend it to new people and will make it hard for that person’s followers to get their posts. This is not a hard ban where the user will be terminated from the social media platform, but rather a soft ban where the user is unaware they are being shadow banned until they look at their analytics and user reach.
The reasons why social media companies shadow ban people is often because the user is promoting and sharing material that is not against the website’s terms of service or community guidelines, but is borderline or goes against the mainstream narrative. These are also often channels that question the mainstream narrative, questioning what we’ve been told our whole lives and the way we live. They are banned so others cannot hear an alternate perspective. All these companies have an agenda, and it’s the mainstream one, and if you question it in any way, be prepared for shadow banning.
I’ve had several of my videos age restricted for no reason, I’ve even had a video removed due to ‘hate speech.’ YouTube could not give me an answer as to why. It was solely because I was expressing my right to free speech, providing an alternative perspective, and allowing others to think for themselves. Social media companies don’t like that. You think Mark Zuckerberg really cares about hearing an opposing view you have on Facebook and sharing it with your friends? You really think Jack Dorsey cares about your rights and freedoms on Twitter? And do you honestly believe Sundar Pichai wants you to find anything that questions the mainstream narrative on Google? Of course not.
I think we can all agree that YouTube is a crap hole when it comes to censorship and user reach. That’s right Susan Wojcicki, I’m calling you out for your blatant disregard for creative content as you try to make the site more and more kid friendly, demonetizing users, and outright banning them because they have a different opinion than you. So much for freedom of speech. At this rate, you may as well just call YouTube, 4Kids Entertainment. I’ve had many people ask me why they aren’t getting my videos in their subscription feed, and why they aren’t being notified, and even why they were mysteriously unsubscribed. It’s YouTube folks.
Well, for those of you who are new or have been following for awhile, I urge you to follow me on other platforms, ideally decentralized platforms, as well as follow my other channels.
Let me share with you the other amazing content I produce and the platforms I am on since you never know when YouTube will try to take everything I’ve done away. You can find Autumn Asphodel content on my website, AutumnAsphodel.com, in addition to YouTube, Odysee (previously known as LBRY), and Bitchute. I can’t really recommend Bitchute since some of the comments are pretty ugly. However, Odysee which is also known as LBRY, is wonderful. It will pay you in cryptocurrency to use their site and to upload and get views on the platform. This is the one true platform that can replace YouTube. Social media platforms I am on are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Minds, which is a great Facebook alternative.
I also make other content as well, including daily videos about my life and what’s going on in the world over on my Elle Stone YouTube channel, which can also be found on Odysee. And I play games on my Asphodel Gaming YouTube channel where I live stream to Twitch every Monday and Friday. Check that out as well. And finally, I’ve made some meditation, hypnosis, and ASMR content on my Iris Fae YouTube channel, but have not been active on there in awhile.
Follow the content you like, I would love to see you join my gaming streams and channels on YouTube and Odysee. See you there. Have a wonderful day!
I started putting my content on other platforms as a way to reach a different audience. I’ve been doing it for years, and have different forms of audiences depending on the platform. Some of the sites I use auto publish YouTube content onto their platform, which is great since I don’t have to upload it twice. Regardless, this is also great for those who don’t get my content on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I’ve heard from so many people that they haven’t seen my posts in months, yet I’ve been making content the entire time. So, I direct them to the alternative ways of reaching my content. If you’re reading this here on my website, then this is not published anywhere else. Somethings you can only get here.
