Are you going through a hard time in your life? If so, how are you coping with it? Let’s discuss some ways of staying true to yourself and pushing through these rough patches.
Hey everyone, welcome back. It’s so nice to see you all. My name is Autumn Asphodel and I am a coach dedicated to personal growth and success. Today I am going to share how to push through hard times and stay true to yourself. Share this crucial information with your family and friends who also struggle with this or who you want to understand you better.
Firstly, how are you doing? Are you feeling stressed in your life? What is causing this stress? Please make note of these since we will be addressing each one to help you face the obstacles and be the best version of yourself.
Now that you’ve made a note of your challenges, also jot down what makes you feel happy and whole. What relieves your stress. Keep a note of all the positive and negative ways you are coping since that too is key to being able to overcome challenges. There may be negative ones associated with stress, so write those down.
Take a look at what causes you stress and what helps it. Identify the coping mechanisms that are truly helpful to you, and ones that may be negative for you. With the negative ones, you can draw a circle back to what causes you stress because negative coping mechanisms are fuel to the fire of stress. It is an additional cause. You may feel relief in the short-term, but it’s actually causing more damage than it is helping.
Finally, keep a note of the things you want to accomplish in your life, the things you truly want and how you want to be. Is there a connection with what causes you stress, how you are coping, and how you want to be? You better believe there is since how you cope with stress is important to help you get to where you want to be.
Why was this experiment important? To help you identify what you are currently going through, how you are presently coping, and how you truly want to be. From here, you can make progress.
In order to push through these obstacles we have identified in your life, we must take a look at what your ideal outcome is. In order to push through the hard times, we have to realize that what we are going through in life presently is situational, in that it will improve with enough time and dedication at achieving our ideal goals. That’s why I asked that you keep track of where you want to be.
So now that you have an idea of how you want to be and your ideal goals, make small goals at achieving this grander picture. If what you are seeking requires money, how are you going to make this money. If what you are seeking requires knowledge in specific areas, how are you going to obtain that knowledge. Keep drilling down to identify exactly what you need. I cannot help you identify this since it’s unique to you and only you will know what you need.
Staying true to yourself is looking at this list and goals you have set for yourself each day and working diligently at accomplishing them. Each moment you should be thinking about how to improve your life and achieve your goal. Even if you are doing things you cannot stand, and are miserable as a result, know that this is for the outcome you have in mind and it will all be worth it in time.
There will be moments when you feel like you are going in the opposite direction. You may even think, “What’s the point if I cannot achieve what I truly want.” The fact is, maybe you won’t achieve what you want the exact way you are seeking it, but maybe another opportunity will come up that will be even better.
Remember the saying, it’s not the destination, it’s the journey. So even if you never make it to the end goal you have in your lifetime, you have made significant progress in this physical form. And who’s to say that in another that you will be one step ahead because of the hard work you put into your current journey.

It is so important to push through the hard times because better times are ahead! I know personally that if I gave in to the negativity I was faced with before, that I would not be able to be as happy and healthy as I am today. I had to push through all those difficult times to stand up, learn from my past, and become a better person today.
Anyone dealing with negativity can also do the same given enough time and dedication. While it may seem like things will never get better, it does and will if you work hard at achieving your goals. Never loose hope and you will see your dreams unfold before you!
